Ashish Dwivedi is a doctoral researcher at the University of Southampton, specialising in the cinema of Guru Dutt. His research spans an interdisciplinary, cross-referential interest across early popular Indian cinema, studio cultures, and stardom studies, with a broader interest in animation studies, archival studies, and modern literary theory.
